The responsibilities of Oracle Technical Consultants include:

* Installing and configuring Oracle E-Business Suite
* Setting up Oracle E-Business Suite security
* Providing consultancy to IT staff on the maintenance, backup and cloning of the database and applications
* Assisting project team during setup of Oracle E-Business Suite in technical issues
* Converting and transferring legacy data to the new system 
* Designing and developing custom screens, reports, alerts and workflows
* Designing and developing concurrent programs and routines
* Providing technical training and transferring the appropriate skills to the IT staff
* Coordinating the IT staff with Oracle Worldwide Support
